Overview: Have there ever been times when you would like to use your mouse and keyboard to do work on your PPC? There’s a new utility that was released recently that allows you to connect to your PPC from your PC desktop. With My Mobiler, anything you can normally do on the touch screen, you can do in the remote window. This program is ideal if you have a lot of contacts to enter (assuming you don’t use Outlook on your PC) or a lot of dates to enter in your calendar. You can cut, copy and paste text between the PC and PPC. You can not move files between the two using cut, copy and paste. There’s a nice screen capture function. It will either copy the screen to the clipboard or to a file. Normally the screen displays at the same size as what is on the PPC. You can also select 50%, 200% or 300% of the normal screen size. Installation is simple, just run the installation program on your PC. The installer will install a small program on you PPC that works with the PC program. You can set the two programs to connect automatically when the PPC is cradled. Conclusion: This is a limited utility, but one that is worth having for what is does do. Keyboard entry and screen capture work great. And did I mention that the program is free? My suggestion is to download it and put it in your stable of utilities.
