Overview:

When I saw this game for the first time, it reminded me of the old and good game called "Scorched earth" (one of the first games I had on my PC). The idea here is the same: You have a powerful Tank equipped with many weapons, and your goal is to blow up your enemy (one or more?).

Each turn starts with choosing the right speed and angle for the shot. After pressing "FIRE" you can see the result, hopefully a good one.

The game is called Atomic Cannon because the story behind the game is also a unique one: you are one of the last survivors from an almost world war III , when only machines rules the earth and everyone is trying to get the best weapon. As you can guess, the best one around is the Atomic Cannon, which you have to find, while testing many other kinds of weapons such as: Bombs, Acid Rockets, Anthrax, Artillery, Ashes, Blow Fish, Gas Rockets, Hellfire, Pig Blasters, Plasma Bombs , Uranium Nukes, etc (85 weapons total).

I really admire the imagination of "Isotope" for finding so many weapons to use. I also give this game a 5 out of 5 for the dazzling graphics and wonderful landscapes. It is really fun to reveal new weapons each turn and read the "help massages", such as: "you are going to die, why you don't buy your victory?"

Conclusion:

I really liked this game. It's easy to learn, yet isn?t easy to win. I give it 5 out of 5 for the graphics, the idea, the fun, the simplicity and for the nostalgic feel of the game.
