Some time ago, a renowned archaeologist specializing in the South-American Indian cultures visited Mexico to conduct one of his regular excavations. The expedition was especially successful that time. He discovered a new tomb, which had remained intact through the centuries. It seemed to be "inhabited" by one of the Mayan emperors, though it was impossible to tell the exact historical person. The anti-thievery measures were the usual, nothing dangerous, to the opposite of what action movies depicted. His fellow scientists knew that Indian tombs were not filled with deadly traps, but it didn't stop them from calling him "Indiana Jones" behind his back - more in affection rather than mockery.

The archaeologist easily reached the inner chamber with the sarcophagus of the Mayan ruler, and there stumbled upon an extreme surprise... It was a puzzle, a square board engraved into the lid of the sarcophagus, filled with strangely painted tiles. The moment he stepped next to it, the doors of the chamber slammed shut and sand started flowing in from several holes in the ceiling. The man quickly realized that if he didn't find out the rules of the puzzle and solve it in time, this would be his first and last encounter with a real deadly Mayan trap, just like in the movies.
